Infinity Scarves: Fall 2014 Picks

With the chillier weather now here, it's time to pull out the cozy scarves again. Last year I bought my first infinity scarf, and I haven't gone back to regular scarves since. What I love about infinity scarves is that there is no hassle to figure out how you want to put it on or wear it, you just put it over your head and wrap one more time. They are also very secure, which is especially wonderful in windy weather.

Last year, this was my favorite scarf which I wore every day with my winter coat.

This year I have been on the hunt for a few scarves that would not only provide warmth through the winter, but also come in colors that would go with many outfits. Here is what I picked out! I put the full price for all of these scarves, but I managed to get all of them significantly cheaper with coupons and sales.

1. Candie's at Khols, $26

This black and white infinity scarf is polka-dotted on one side, and striped on the other. The black and white makes it easy to pair with most outfits. The material is pretty thin, so it is probably not the best scarf for being out in the cold weather, but it is a great item to keep you cozy while indoors at work or school!

2. Olsenboye at JcPenny, $20

This scarf is a beautiful blend of creams, tans, and browns in a lovely plaid design. The fringe at the ends adds a nice touch too, that not all infinity scarves have. This is thicker and warmer than the Candie's scarf, so it works well with a coat.

3. Cotton On, $16.95

This scarf (or actually called a "snood" in the company description) is so cozy and soft. This is the one I will be pairing with my winter coat. The furry material is brown underneath, with white on the top, which gives it a snow-touched look.
