I took these photos a few summers ago in the Black Hills of South Dakota when I was traveling with my mom and grandparents to Wyoming. After seeing Mount Rushmore the night before and stopping for some coffee in the morning (a necessity for my many-pots-of-coffee-a-day grandma!) we strolled around the town of Hill City before we took a ride on the 1880 train, which takes you on a leisurely ride around the Black Hills on an old steam train. We stopped when we spotted these amazing metal horse and donkey sculptures. It caught our eyes because it was intricately made of various objects like wrenches, spoons and horseshoes (just to name a few!)
