Photo of the Week: Across the Met

This week I watched a documentary about John F. Kennedy Jr., called I Am JFK Jr. In one part of the documentary, they talked about how much he loved New York City and that he lived across from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They said that The Met was his playground. This got me thinking about my brief visit there. It was one of my favorite parts that I saw in New York, and The Met was one of the best museums I have been in. It is quite a thought to think about all the people who have crossed those streets and walked those sidewalks each and everyday. I looked at some photos I took there and this one stood out to me. It just looks so NYC, with the high-rise apartments, the bustling roads, and the food stands lining the streets (I had a hot dog there and sat on the steps outside because I was so exhausted from walking around the museum!).
