Disney (Mini) Haul 4

A week after my last Disney Haul I returned to the Disney Store on a quick day trip to the Minneapolis area. I had been thinking about a few items that I did not get at the time, and wanted to re-check out the store while I was back in the area. Firstly, I became very glad that I picked up that Baby Dory plush and Book Tsum Tsum, because both were now sold out in that store! There weren’t too many new items added since my previous visit, but it was fun to comb through the store again. I especially love to look at all the dolls and stuffed animals, thinking about what I would have loved to buy as a kid. Before I left the store, I did get a couple more items that I couldn’t pass up.

Art of Belle Sweatshirt: $34.95
What I loved about this “Art of Belle” line was that it was made for adult women. I often see so many outfits or shirts in the children’s section that I say to whomever I am shopping with, “I wish this came in adult size!”. Besides the sweatshirt, there was also a t-shirt, tank top, compact mirror, and wallet all in a more “grown up” style, and all featuring different unique designs of Belle. It is great that Disney made some tops that include adults who also want to wear a bit of Disney. I am looking forward to being able to wear this once the weather cools down. I recently got a few different colored jeggings, which I think will go quite nicely with the oatmeal color of the sweatshirt. The sweatshirt itself is a longer fit, and a bit more form-fitting than loose. I got a medium, which fits quite comfortably. The inside of the sweatshirt is not fuzzy material, but more knitted, which makes it not quite as soft as some sweatshirts are. The sketch of Belle and the Beast is in brown, which goes well with the overall color scheme. The neutral color of the sweatshirt also works nicely with the pop of red color from the rose Belle is holding. There is also some nice detailing near the bottom, with some flowers stitched using a metallic copper thread. I like that the red rose and the metallic thread are understated aspects that make the sweatshirt really beautiful, but not too over-the-top.

Animators’ Collections Princess Figure Play Set: $24.95
This set was something I saw on the Disney Store website, but did not see in person at the store during my last visit. I was so excited that they had these in stock, because seeing them in person, I knew I needed to get it. I have loved all of the Animators’ Collection dolls, but couldn’t really reason buying one, as much as I wanted to. This set seemed perfect for me because it finally gave me a more realistic reason to bring some of these adorable designs home with me. The dolls are also a great quality, and come at pretty reasonable price for 12 different figures. All of the princesses are included in the set, except for Anna and Elsa from Frozen. A really beautiful feature of the figures is the pain detailing. Overall the paint job is quite good, but what I especially love is the metallic accenting each girl has someone on their body. For example, red metallic paint can be found on Snow White’s cape and bow, Pocahontas has a blue metallic necklace, and my favorite of all, Rapunzel has golden metallic hair. I just can't get over how much I love these! (Side note though: these were very difficult to get out of the package!)
