For my newest Disney Haul, all of the items were purchased through Hot Topic over the past few months. Quite a few were online exclusives (I was surprised how many there were, and how many I was drawn to!), which made an online order necessary before everything was sold out. My love for Disney is always strong, with my eye always on the lookout for anything special, and I am excited to share with you my latest additions!
Loungefly Princess Mini Backpack and Pencil Case: $34.90 for backpack and $8.90 for pencil case (got both online and on sale for 30% off) *Pencil Case Online Exclusive
I have been so excited about this backpack. When I was about 11 years old, I had a little backpack that was made of denim and had cherries on it. I loved that bag, and it was the first bag I really carried around with me. As I grew up though, backpacks didn’t seem quite as cool to wear outside of a school setting, so I am happy to see quite a lot of these mini backpacks popping up. This little bag brings back memories of my cherry backpack, but the design is even more fun. I love all the princesses that it shows, with their different expressions. I also got the matching pencil case to stick inside the bag and store little items. On the pencil case I stuck a few buttons to personalize it a bit more. While the design is colorful and busy, I think the style of the princesses are a bit more grown-up and a great way for a Disney Princess fan to show their love. This backpack and pencil case will be great for little trips, out shopping, and maybe even for future times at the Disney Parks.

Pixar Characters Woven Tapestry Throw: $36.50 (got online on sale for 30% off) *Online Exclusive
I just fell in love with this throw because of all the different Pixar characters (including Remi from Ratatouille as well as Dug and Russell from Up, which are my favorites). It is always fun to find characters that aren’t as commonly on products, and this throw definitely fit the bill. I actually have a set of stickers from Hallmark from quite a while ago featuring this “square” design of the characters, which I thought was so cool at the time, so it was fun to see that style again on something else. I’m not able to keep this throw out right now, because of the loose threads that make the images (which I guess is a downside to this item, since it can easily be snagged on something), because my dog might get his nails stuck in it when he jumps on my bed. Hopefully sometime in the near future I will be able to use it in an office space, which I plan to have Disney themed to display my books, art, and collectables I have acquired over the years.
Up Dug “I Love You” Shirt: $22.90 (purchased online using Hot Cash, making it about 1/2 off) *Online Exclusive
This is one of my favorite Disney quotes, featuring one of my favorite characters. Dug is such a sweet and uplifting character, as well as so relatable if you are a dog lover. Whenever my dog meets anyone, he acts just like Dug and I can imagine him speaking quite similarly to him (with a higher-pitched voice though). I like that this ringer style shirt is black and white as well, making it easy to go a variety of outfits.
Mulan Flower Bloom Shirt: $22.90 (purchased online using Hot Cash, making it about 1/2 off) *Online Exclusive
Mulan Flower Bloom Shirt: $22.90 (purchased online using Hot Cash, making it about 1/2 off) *Online Exclusive
Mulan is my favorite princess (If I had to choose one!) and I was pretty excited to find this shirt. I love the quote and also like how it isn’t overly obvious that it is Disney. I’m not super fond of v-neck tops, but once I tried it on, I felt better about it. The simple outline and text make for a cool design and the bright red color is something I don’t really have in my wardrobe.

Emperor’s New Groove Comic Shirt: $22.90 (purchased online using Hot Cash, making it about 1/2 off) *Online Exclusive
In my last Little Finds Haul I discussed my great love of The Emperor’s New Groove, so when I saw this shirt, I felt I would regret passing it up. I love the comic style of this and the color scheme is again easy to fit under a sweater or jeans. The scene the shirt depicts is a great part of the movie, when Pacha and Kuzco go down a waterfall. I always think of the trailer for the film, which ended with this moment. Even before I saw the film in theaters, I knew this scene quite well! (Boo-yaahahaha!)
Princess Renaissance and Princess 21st Century Panel Shirts: $22.90 each (purchased in store during buy one, get one 1/2 off t-shirts)
Princess Renaissance and Princess 21st Century Panel Shirts: $22.90 each (purchased in store during buy one, get one 1/2 off t-shirts)
When I saw these shirts at Hot Topic, I gasped with excitement, and have called them my favorite shirts ever. These shirts, and style, are really up my alley. I like that they are white, the fit is more loose (not so “fitted”) and the panel design is an awesome way to display the princesses. I also really like the style the art is drawn in, giving the girls a cohesive look all together. This “Renaissance” shirt features three of my top favorite princesses (Belle, Ariel, and Mulan…with Rapunzel being my other favorite), so it was quite the find for me. The soft material is very comfortable, but the only downside is that I can tell they will easily get a bit nubby when worn. The image also lightened a bit with my first wash, although I think the distressed worn look works with the style of this shirt, but I will need to be a bit more careful with these. I love these shirts to show off my Disney love, and again they surprisingly work with a lot of outfits. I especially like these tucked into a skirt, with an open front sweater
over it.
over it.
